Trip highlights: A trip to experience the diversity of continental Ecuador, from the pictoresque highland province of Imababura to the exhuberent Amazonian rainforest, returning briefly to the Andes, and then descending the other direction to the sunny Pacific coast where we'll visit banana and exotic fruit plantations. We suggest the Galapagos Island extension. Difficulty : Appropriate for anyone.
Day 1: Drive to Salinas. On the way stop at the baths of San Vicente. Overnight.
Day 2: Excursion to the little community of Valdivia, visit to the Aquarium and the museum. Free time to admire the handicrafts made by the local people. Overnight.
Day 3: Day at leisure or optional excursion to Manglar Alto or Punta Carnero. Overnight.
Day 4: Morning at leisure, in afternoon transfer to Guayaquil.
